iWonder March Highlights: Wonder Women

Three new films make their debut on iWonder this month in celebration of International Women's Day, exploring the dedication of small group of talented individuals proving to the rest of the world that there are no limits to what powerful, talented women are able to achieve.

'Martha & Niki,' launches 6 March on iWonder

Beginning with music, 'Martha & Niki' explores the transcendent bond between the first ever female Hip Hop World Champions; 'The Other Half of the Sky' presents an awe-inspiring account of what it takes to reach the upper echelons of the business world in China; and 'Sometimes I Dream I'm Flying' explores the captivating world of an immensely talented ballet dancer striving for greatness.

Biggest street dance competition. First women to ever win

When Martha Nabwire and Niki Tsappos stepped onto the Juste Debout stage in Paris and did what no women had done before—they won. The biggest street dance competition in the world, long dominated by men, now had its first female champions. Martha & Niki, directed by Tora Mkandawire Mårtens, follows their rise, their friendship, and what comes after a groundbreaking victory.

With music by The Roots, Jungle Brothers, Method Man, Pete Rock [&] C.L. Smooth, Das EFX, N.O.R.E, Damon Frost, and Chapee, Martha & Niki is a celebration of the power of passion to unite, uplift, and inspire.

Sometimes I Dream I'm Flying

Ballet. Sacrifice. The Pursuit of Greatness.

Ballet is beauty, but it is also brutal. Sometimes I Dream I'm Flying, directed by Aneta Popiel-Machnicka, follows Weronika Frodyma, a young dancer whose life has been dedicated to ballet since the age of 10.

Shot over six years, the film captures her relentless pursuit of excellence at the Warsaw Ballet School and beyond—until an injury just days before a crucial Berlin Opera performance threatens everything.
